| Skidegate is the entry point to the Queen Charlottes by BC Ferry. The main ferry terminal is located 2 km south of Skidegate Village. The two BC Ferry Terminals in Skidegate Landing connect to Moresby Island of the Queen Charlottes and to Prince Rupert on the BC, Canada Mainland. The BC Ferry cruise from Prince Rupert takes 6-8 hours depending on the weather. Bring a sleeping bag, pillow and a good book. Most pick a piece of floor for a bed. There are sleeping cabins available on the ferry. Must book in advance for a cabin. And should book in advance for reservation on this BC Ferry route. By air from Prince Rupert takes about an hour. There are flights from Vancouver and other destinations as air charters vary in routes. Once off the BC Ferry follow the signs for 2 km to Skidegate Village. |
